The builds, hours and billing are behind this.

Job Tracker
Job Tracker
Saving… View only
Can't reach the tracker. What's on screen is the last thing this page managed to read, and changes made now have nowhere to go. Check the connection and try again.

Drag a build by the handle on its left to put the list in the order you want. Everyone with the link sees the same order.

Calendar

Every person's lane, and the work sitting in it. Each build runs its estimate lines in order from its start date. Click a bar to open the build.

What's on each jig

A jig holds one vehicle. The top card is what's on the table; everything under it is the line waiting for it. Drag a card to reorder the line, or drop it on another jig to move the car.

Billable time

How much of the week ended up on a customer's invoice — and where the rest of it went. Built from the Workforce export and the invoices you upload.

Hours this week, by person

Every entry this week

Billed hours nobody is credited with

Invoice lines that went in without an owner. Say who billed them and they move onto that person's numbers.

Quoted vs worked vs billed — every build

Upload timesheets and invoices

Files are read right here in the browser — nothing is sent anywhere. Every upload shows you what it found before it changes a thing.

Notes & changes we want

A scratchpad for anything you want changed about the tracker, or anything the shop needs to remember. It saves as you type and everyone sees the same thing.

Password

The one everyone types to get into the tracker. Changing it signs out every device that's already in — including the ones on the shop floor — so they'll each need the new one. That's the point of it: it's how someone who's left stops having access.

At least 8 characters.

Crew

Timesheet rows get matched to these names when you upload. Add anyone whose name shows up in a TSheets export. Mark the fabricators — they always keep a lane on the Calendar, so you can see who is free; everyone else appears there only when they are put on something.

Overhead categories

Job codes in Workforce that aren't a customer build. Time charged to these counts as hours worked but never as billable.

Clear out old data

Drops timesheet hours, invoice credit and stored weekly rows dated before the day you pick.

Or wipe every number in the app — quoted, worked, billed and the weekly billable history — and rebuild it from the estimates, invoices and timesheets. The builds themselves, their estimate lines and dates, the crew and their goals all stay.

Billable goals

What each person is measured against on the Efficiency tab.

A working day

How the calendar turns estimated hours into days. A build's bar runs from its start date for as many working days as its estimate needs, shared across the people on it — 80 hours with two fabricators at 8 a day is five days. Weekends are skipped.

Default labor rate

Rates vary by job, so each build uses the rate read off its own estimate and invoices. This one is the fallback — what a build is valued at until its paperwork says otherwise.

Before anything changes on this page

Copy a backup first. Everything the shop uploads lives with this page — not on anyone's computer. When Claude publishes a change to how the page works, whatever is loaded here is replaced along with it.

  1. Copy a backup below, and paste it into a text file you keep.
  2. Ask for the change and let it be published.
  3. Come back here and put the backup back.

Takes about twenty seconds and restores everything — builds, timesheet rows, invoice credit, the crew, goals and overhead categories. Not just the hours.

This page is shared by link. Anyone who has the link can open it and change what's on it, including hours and rates. Keep the link inside the shop.

Backups

Everything uploaded here lives with the page, not on anyone's computer. Copy a backup into a text file before any big change and you can always put it back. While this page is shared by link it can't hand you a file directly, so the backup comes to your clipboard.
